We have beautiful gardens surrounding our parish. Just as in our Gospel lesson this week the wheat and the weeds grow together. Please make time, as you are able, to come and “harvest” some weeds so our intended plants can grow and mature to 100, 60, 30 fold.
Sunday School will begin September 17th at 9:00am. More information to follow.
On September 17th our 10:00am service will be an Instructed Eucharist. This will be a regular Sunday service but each part of the service will have an explanation about what we are doing and why we do it. Because of the extra narration there will not be a sermon. If you have ever wondered why we do what we do this is the service to attend!
Catechumenate is a nine-month course in the basics of Christian the faith and practice. It is a period of training and instruction in Christian understandings about God, human relationships, and the meaning of life. It concludes with Confirmation, Reception, or Renewal of Baptismal Vows.
The class will begin on Tuesday, September 19th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will continue until May. The study is led by Mother Michele Whitford. If you would like to be a part of this exciting study and fellowship or would like more information, please call Mother Michele at 920-918-1230 or email at vicar@stpaulsplymouthwi.com. There will be a sign-up sheet on the table in the back of church.
