The Vicar’s Voice:

Dear Beloved of God,

Alleluia! Christ is Risen! The Lord is Risen indeed! Alleluia! We have so much to be thankful for. Our mighty church has worked very hard in our “We Lift Them to the Lord” capital campaign for our wheelchair lift. This last year, through our pledging inches for our lift and our fundraising activities we have been able to pay $25,700.04 toward our loan from the diocese. We have $2,299.96 remaining to pay in the next year. This is truly remarkable; God has blessed us abundantly. Thank you all for working so hard!

In His Mercy,

Mother Michele+

Meet our Muslim AFS Students - May 5

On Sunday, May 5, we welcome 3 AFS Muslim students to observe our worship & then meet with us, around the table, to discuss their faith & traditions during our fellowship time. Ann & Jon Weeden are hosting Bora Adjini, from Albania, who some of you have already met. The other two young men are Rinor Ruzhdii from Macedonia & Mohammed Qaraqish from Jordan. They are all students at PHS.

Sponsor a New Chair - $20 each

Sponsor a New Chair! We have purchased new chairs for the fellowship hall! Our old chairs were getting creaky and in need of attention. We have purchased these chairs at an unbelievably affordable price. We are asking you to sponsor one or more chairs, at $25 per chair, to help defray the cost. Thank you!

Welcome Table - May 14 & 21

On Tuesday, May 14 and 21, St. Paul’s is hosting the Welcome Table, which offers a free meal to everyone who comes. 5 desserts are needed and 5 people are needed from 4:30-7pm, on both Tuesdays, to help make the meal, set the tables, serve food & clean up after. Financial assistance is also needed. Contact Dawn Bartz or Ann Weeden if you can help.

Bishop Matt’s Visitation - May 19

The Rt. Rev. Matthew Gunter will make his annual visitation Sunday, May 19, 2019. He will be blessing the new altar top, praying with the children of the parish and the catechumens will be confirmed and renew their Baptismal Covenant. Please plan to welcome Bishop Matt and Leslie. Following our worship we will have a light luncheon of salads & deserts. A sign-up sheet is on the back table for what you can bring.

Nick’s Group - May 15

Wednesday, May 15, from 6:00pm-7:30pm is the gathering of Nick’s Group, a support group for families who have lost a loved one to a drug overdose. Julie Walzack leads this group to help others through the grieving process. If you know of someone who has lost someone to drugs, please tell them about this group. If you have further questions, call or text Julie at: 920-838-2562.

UTO Spring Ingathering - May 19

Are you putting coins in your “Blue Boxes” & saying prayers of thanksgiving for all the blessings God continues to shower upon each of us? The United Thank Offering will be collected Sunday, May 19 and all the money is given out to grants in the Episcopal Church. St. Paul’s received a grant for rebuilding our church after the fire. This is a way for us to give back to others who now need some assistance.

Second Hand Treasure Sale - June 6, 7 & 8

We will again be having a Second Hand Treasure Sale & we need your gently used items to sell. 2nd-Hand Treasures items can be brought to church after May 19th. People are also needed to help sort, price and sell items. See Marilyn Schreiber if you can assist with this fund raiser.
