Dear Beloved of God,

At this holy time of year we look to the coming of the Christ Child, God incarnate, the Savior of the world, coming to us in the all humility as a helpless baby. We also look for the second coming of Christ, when he comes on clouds of glory and makes all things new. At this holy time of year we often hear the great argument to “Keep Christ in Christmas”! I say Yes! keep Christ in Christmas and keep all the other holy days as well. We are called to be kind and respectful to all we encounter at this blessed time of year. I found this helpful article on the internet. I hope you enjoy it.

In His Mercy,

Mother Michele

Dear Beloved of God,

November for me is a month of giving thanks; the beauty of the leaves, sweater weather, cozy fires and family. We, as the family of God, in this place, also have much for which we are thankful. We have had a successful paper drive in which we filled more than half a semi-trailer with newspapers. The Annual Pancake Breakfast with craft and bake sale was a great success. This was my first time having potato pancakes, and I can say I highly recommend them. We served over 275 people a wonderful breakfast. I was amazed at how many parishioners participated; it was a hive of activity. From potato peelers who started at 5am, to those who cooked, served, washed dishes, and cleaned up, everyone was busy. We had a great variety of baked goods and craft items for sale. I can attest to the deliciousness of the apple pie and some pumpkin bars. We give thanks to God for the joy we experience in the abundance of our many blessings.

In his Mercy,

Mother Michele

Dear Beloved of God,

I have been blessed to be your priest for ten months now. It has been a great joy to be welcomed so completely into this community. I have been amazed at the energy and faithfulness with which you worship God and live into the Great Commission. The future is very exciting. We are looking toward having a wheelchair lift installed which will enable everyone to access the entire building. This will provide us with more opportunities to invite others to experience the love of God in this place. As we journey together, I ask that you pray for guidance and direction for what God is calling each one of us to do and for what we as a congregation can do to live more fully into the Kingdom of God.

In his Mercy,

Mother Michele
