The Chosen Note: Class Begins at 8:30 a.m.

Adult Formation: Join us Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. as we watch and discuss The Chosen, a groundbreaking historical drama based on the life of Jesus Christ, seen through the eyes of those who knew him.

Set against the backdrop of Roman oppression in first-century Israel, the seven-season show shares an authentic and intimate look at Jesus’ revolutionary life and teachings. The Chosen is based on the true stories of the Gospels of Jesus Christ. Some locations and timelines have been combined or condensed. Backstories and some characters or dialog have been added.

However, all the bible and historical context and any artistic imagination are designed to support the truth and intention of the Scriptures. Viewers are encouraged to read the scripture and the Gospels.

Women’s Mini Week: August 11-14. Applications are on the back table in church.

Bible Study: On Tuesday August 20th we begin a new Bible study using the book: Living in the Father's Love. In Living in the Father's Love, we will be exploring how much God loves each of us as his beloved daughters. We will be delving into questions such as - does God really love me? What is my purpose? How can I feel beautiful even though culturally I do not measure up to impossible standards? For some women, the father brings back warm memories, for others, it triggers complex and sometimes painful memories. No matter which group you are in, this bible study is for you. As we progress through the study you will connect with your true father in heaven, who loves you so very much. We will meet in the Library from 1000-1130 each Tuesday for 6 weeks beginning on August 20. For more information contact Nicole Walker at This email address is being protected from spambots.
